This is a very pretty doll, in a traditional Indian saree. Under the base it says ‘Bengali’, so presumably that’s where she comes from. One of the nicest Indian dolls I’ve seen.

She’s made of cloth on a wire frame. and is on a wooden stand. She is just over 23cm or 9 inches tall. Good vintage condition. The marks you can see on her costume appear to be the random pattern of the fabric, as it carries on under the folds of the saree.
