Rohtas Fort, also called Qila Rohtas, was built in 1541 and survives intact til today.

The Fort was put on the List because it is an exceptional example of Muslim military architecture in Central and South Asia, blending architectural and artistic traditions from Turkey and the Indian sub-continent to create the model for Mughal architecture.

An important trademark of Indonesia’s culture is batik. The batik processes of waxing and dyeing origanted in java centureies ago and now classic design have been modified with modern trends on both pattern and technology. There are several centers of Batik in Java, the major ones being Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Pekalongan, and Cirebon. Other provinces produce hand woven cloths of gold and silver threads, silks or cottons with intricate designs. Paintings traditionally and contemporary woodcarving for ornamentation and furniture, silverwork and engraving from Yogyakarta and Sumatera, filigree form south Sulawesi and Bali with different styles of clay, sandstone, and wood sculptures.

Brass handicrafts are every where in Pakistan in Multan, Lahore , Gujranwala , Swat, Peshawar, Karachi, the brass work is very time consuming and hard work to do. brass handicrafts from Pakistan is not as much as it must be but now they are in demand flourishing industry the brass work is not like as much locally but it is exported to other countries of the world Multan has some historical type of brass work where other cities has other kinds of art on brass. The art of brass vary by cities all over Pakistan but some items match with each other.
